Tuchel States No Problem with Bellingham, Foden, or Grealish

Media Description: The England Coach discussing the Real Madrid Star

England's Head Coach Thomas Tuchel stated that he has "no problem" with Jack Grealish after the trio did not make the Three Lions squad for forthcoming fixtures against Wales and Latvia.

The midfielder has not been recalled despite returning from a shoulder injury, while the Manchester City and Everton players are also absent despite displaying a return to form with their respective clubs.

Tuchel mentioned that the 22-year-old desired to be part of the squad, having spoken with him via telephone.

"He is a unique talent, and for special players there can often be exceptions," the coach remarked about the Real Madrid star, who's made just one start since coming back to full health.

"But we opted to stick with the simple choice of inviting the identical squad.

"Bellingham consistently merits to be here. There is the factor that he has not fully regained his full rhythm again at his club - he has not finished a full match.

"He expressed a desire to be called up. We had a phone call."

Tuchel was keen to emphasize his good rapport with the midfielder after he said sorry to him previously for calling his conduct during a match as "repulsive" in a televised interview.

Tuchel explained that he used the words "unintentionally" and promised to be more cautious in future.

Inquired if he had a problem with the player, he responded: "None. There is also no problem with Phil Foden or Grealish.

"Phil is back to impacting and deciding games for Manchester City. Grealish is very close to being back to the top form of himself.

"There exists no personal issue."

Bukayo Saka replacing the injured Madueke is the only change to the previous squad, with Loftus-Cheek and Jarell Quansah keeping their spots after joining as late additions previously due to injury.

The Three Lions play Wales in a friendly at Wembley Stadium on Thursday before a World Cup qualifier in Riga on October 14.

Should the team win in Latvia, they will need a maximum of two more points from their final two matches - against Serbia and Albania in next month - to earn a place in next summer's tournament in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Impressive Display Under Tuchel

England delivered their best display by some distance under Tuchel's leadership when they beat the Serbian team five-nil away in the Serbian capital in their previous match.

Tuchel stated that performance meant it an straightforward choice to stick with mostly the identical group, though "there exist absolutely no guarantees" for every squad member regarding selection.

"Our previous gathering was only a few weeks ago and the teamwork and spirit was on the highest level. That is the reason we chose to call up the same group to this camp," he said.

"Phil is in a excellent run of form. Adam Wharton deserves to be with us. Jones and Trevoh Chalobah are earning playing time with their teams.

"We have players who warrant to be here. Palmer is unfit and is a special player. It will consistently remain like this.

"Is our team a better team with Bellingham? Yes. But I mentioned before, what do we do if Jude is unavailable before the World Cup? Do we simply give up?"

The Manager's Press Conference Gets Noticed

The England manager again delivered a box office press briefing.

He, a expert of managing his relationship with the press, started with an opening statement to explain his reasoning for his selections.

Bellingham is fit and available and expressed interest to come to camp, but Tuchel has said he did not want to alter the squad too much after a statement five-goal victory over their opponents - where the boss noted team spirit was extremely strong.

However with him not selecting Bellingham, and his frequent remarks about team spirit, it is difficult to avoid connect the two - even though Tuchel insisted multiple times how he is "special" and that there is "no problem" between Tuchel and one of the national team's star players.

Tuchel has consistently made it clear that he aimed to make the national team seem like a club side and, by retaining the same squad after a big victory, he has done that. But the questions will arise once more in the following session if England perform strongly in these next two matches.
